Ducs Fly South: Ferrari-Ducati Showdown...

...or the eternal "driver or rider" dilemma. The Ferrari-Ducati showdown, which we will detail below, is just one of the events scheduled to take place during the first annual "Ducs Fly South" track day, set to take place on July 13 at the New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Set up by Ducati North America, the "Ducs Fly South" event will give everyone interested a chance to experience the racetrack together with Ducati and the motorcycle roadracing school Penguin. The latter will bring on the site special staff to provide both top level instruction and premium entertainment.

As we told you, the Ferrari-Ducati showdown is just one of the events. With the help of Universal Autosports, three Ferrari Challenge cars will be running on the track, competing with one another for the fastest lap. Once the three are off the tarmac, professional Ducati instructors and racers will do the same on their bikes...

And yes, what you were hoping for will happen. The winners, both from the Ferrari team and the Ducati one will get to it head to head in what the organizers say will be a winner-takes-all race.

Once this is out of your system, you can head to the Ducati Hypermotard Truck, where you can get riding instruction and demo rides on Hypermotards. A "'Best Bike" contest, test rides, and a suspension seminar can also be found at the truck's location.

As for the track experience we promised you in the beginning, individual instruction for riders at every level will be provided "on the go". Riders will be able to participate in as many of the classes as they like.
