Ducati announces a complete all-new line of apparel and accessories to go with the newest bike from Borgo Panigale, the Scrambler, obviously. At the end of a lengthy teaser campaign, Ducati has finally unveiled the new all-rounder as part of an integrated lifestyle concept, the “Land of Joy”.
The move is consistent with what we have seen in other houses, with an increasing number of manufacturers also following the “lifestyle trend”, with BMW, Matchless and Brough Superior being only few of the names which come to mind now.

While diehard riders will surely disregard the fashion side of motorcycling, we will consider the “Scrambler case” as a very interesting enterprise, especially because the motorcycle itself seems to address different needs than those of people in search of a commuter.

A fancy bike needs fancy accessories

Regardless of how road-worthy and off-road-capable Ducati says the bike is, it will be hard for the Scrambler to shake off the dandy vibe the very campaign added to it. But this is only for the better, because riders who enjoy this type of bike will now be offered a very good opportunity to integrate more of what it stands for in their own lives.

Even more, since everything Ducati offers is obviously optional and in no way conditioned by anything, nobody stands in the way of those who want just the bike. On the other hand, if you will get the Scrambler because of what it represents (more than just another scrambler on the road) then being able to also claw some apparel and accessories sounds like a really awesome perspective.

All the pieces in the Ducati Scrambler collection sport a look that’s coherent with what the bike itself brings, and are more towards the casual side of fashion. Leather or textile jackets, t-shirts, helmets, wristwatches or gloves, they all convey the same slightly vintage, neo-retro feeling, which – truth be told, is very neat.

And even though Ducati envisages a younger demographic as the main customer pool for its Scrambler, the cross-generation nature of the entire project is one strong point for Borgo Panigale. While you’re still waiting for your Scrambler to arrive at the dealership, check out the Ducati Scrambler apparel collection and decide what you’ll wear on your first ride.
