Two of the three riding groups will have passing restrictions, for enabling a comfortable place to ride for all participants.
Between sessions, riders are allowed to participate in as many classes as they wish. Classes will be covering topics like line selection, corner strategy, braking techniques, corner speed analysis, body position, bike setup.
The event will also provide individual instructions, as well as a bike show and a track photographer for shooting all day. Some of the highlights of the event are the Ducati Hypermotard Truck, Larry Pegram and the Ferrari-Ducati showdown.
The Ducati Hypermotard Truck is a tractor trailer that will house Ducati Hypermotards, on which attendees will benefit of instruction and demo rides all day long. Product giveaways, a ‘Best Bike’ contest, test rides, and a suspension seminar will also be housed by the truck.
The factory Ducati AMA Superbike rider Larry Pegram will be the guest star of the show, celebrating his recent victory at Road America, signing autographs, and handling a special question and answer session about his Ducati 1098 R Superbikes.
The Ferrari-Ducati Showroom will be filled with Ferraris, Maseratis and Lamborghinis. Three Ferrari Challenge cars will be brought to run on the track, competing against each other for the fastest lap.
Following this competition, professional Ducati instructors and racers will mirror this contest on Ducatis. Finally, the Challenge car driver and the Ducati rider with the fastest laps will go head to head in a winner-takes-all race.
The event is scheduled to take place on July 13 at New Jersey Motorsports Park and is open to street riders of all levels and with any make of motorcycle.
