Ducati Superleggera Envisioned by Ulfert Janssen

In case you thought the Ducati Superleggera is the best shape an 1199 Panigale could ever dream of having, I'm glad to introduce to you the vision of Gannet Design's Ulfert Janssen, a German designer specialized in transport design development and product design.

His Superleggera takes aerodynamics to a new level, most likely matching the lightweight construction of the new Ducati superbike, and "Fluid" is probably one of the best names for such a design.

It looks like Ulfert is reinterpreting the monocoque frame approach, but his design is taking things way into the future. With a solid expertise in auto design development, Ulfert Janssen is able to blend function and form into a product which is ahead of its time, but nevertheless awesome.

Having worked for more than 10 years in Renault's design squad and behind the man behind the interior of cars such as the Infiniti FX, Ulfert Janssen is showing an even more refined approach to modern shapes than the classic bike designer.

Have Janssen's Fluid made in carbon fiber and we'd most likely be looking at a new bike, the Ultrasuperleggera. More on Ulfert's design work.
