Ducati Multistrada 1200 Toubkal, a Good Design Lesson for Ducati

The worlds could be a much better place if the motorcycle manufacturers heeded the customizers' advice. That is, making the bikes look better, right off th production line. And to how how nice bikes can become awesome bikes, here are the Dutch guys at Affetto Ducati providing one more reason to gaze in awe: the Multistrada 1200 Toubkal.

The Multistrada 1200 can go many places and leave the asphalt behind, but it still needs to clear out some small issues.

The most importat one is of course, the wheels. No matter how much would a manufacturer tell you that cast wheels are the best, the spoked ones will outperform them on really tough surfaces.

And since the bike bears the name of the tallest peak of the Atlas mountains in Morocco, the choice was a natural one.

The metal mesh covering the various vents on the bodywork is a sure shot with any adventure bike and honestly, it's weird seeing that it gets ignored by most manufacturers.

Affetto Ducati also loaded a new exhaust on the Multistrada 1200, together with some medium-sized aluminium panniers. Touratech engine guards and a carbon fiber flyscreen are also on the list, even though the windscreen could definitely be a bit bigger for more effective protection.

As for the paint job, the Dutch Multistrada 1200 smokes the stock bike: a combination of sizzling hot metallic red, silver and black looks simply enthralling.
