Suppo has been working with Ducati since 1999, and his work for the Italian manufacturer’s has been highly appreciated by Ducati's general director, Claudio Domenicali, who also revealed the team will be restructured after Suppo’s departure.
Alessandro Cicognani will take over the project manager position instead of Suppo, while current Ducati test rider Vittoriano Guareschi will become team manager. It appears that Tardozzi will be replaced by Ernesto Marinelli, the team’s current technical director and the track engineer for Troy Bayliss.
