Dubai Police Adds Lamborghini Aventador to Roster

Police forces in Britain are testing electric-powered Vauxhaull Amperas, while Romania uses 0.9-liter Dacia Logan sedans. However, traffic offenses in Dubai might be altogether faster in nature.

Dubai is probably the biggest gathering place of supercars in the world, most certainly in the Middle East. With so many 600+ hp monsters on the road, you need a good shepherd to keep them away from the sheep.

Introducing the 700 horsepower Lamborghini Aventador… police car. We've seen this sort of publicity stunt before in places like Italy, where a Gallardo dawned Polizia livery a few years back. One supercar won't stop all the speeders out there, but it will make one awesome deterrent.

If we ever see an Aventador in the rearview mirror and it flashes us with police lights, we'll definitely stop and say "sir, it is an honor to be pulled over by you."

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
