Drive the 2014 Bentley Flying Spur on Snow and Ice
Between February 6 and March 2014, Bentley is scheduled to hold the Power on Ice experience, a four-day event in Finland. The oversteering hostilities will be led by Juha Kankkunen. The man’s a four-time World Rally Chapion, so he probably knows his way around sliding a car.
Kankkunen, who has broken two world ice speed record with Bentley, has designed special circuits for the participants. This will all take place in the proximity of the Ruka Peak resort, 60 km away from the edge of the Artic Circle. With 625 HP and all-wheel drive, things should get pretty interesting.
“The Flying Spur is going to be an excellent addition to the Power on Ice experience and we’re looking forward to showing what it is capable of. There’s going to be something special about driving a luxury car you’d expect to see in Monte Carlo or London across the snow and frozen lakes,” comments Kankkunen.
By the way, those of you who prefer coupes shouldn’t be worried. Finalnd will also be assaulted with Bentley Continental GTs, as well as with V8-powered Continental GTs.
