Drag Specialties AGM Maintenance-Free Battery for Large Engines
Since starting a cold big-bore touring bike such as a Harley-Davidson or a custom machine with a huge S&S power unit may sometimes require quite a lot of punch, Drag Specialties are now offering an alternative to the OEM batteries, and even more.
One of the great things about this AGM battery is the zero-maintenance factor: once owners load the acid provided in the pack, all they have to do is add the permanent seal and there they go. No more acid spills damaging bikes and making a mess out of nifty cruisers.
The special radial grid technology used in the Drag Specialties AGM battery is supposed to deliver more current for these big bikes. Drag Specialties advertise 310 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) and this should positively do, e specially as we believe there are rather few H-D owners riding at 0 Celsius (30 F).
Each battery comes with a quick-connect harness for the Drag Specialties charger and has a special construction which makes it more vibration resistant. If you're not ready for the Lithium technology just yet, $99.95 (€78) for the Drag Specialties AGM battery sound quite lovely.
