Honda Acura NSX fans claim 1991 was the most favored model year. Bidding on eBay has started at 80 grand, yet nobody places any bets on it so far. We are talking about an enormous fame factor after all, considering that Donald Trump may even become the next president of the US.
Before anything else, however, Donald Trump is a business magnate with a net worth Forbes appreciated at 4 billion dollars. Not that we care much about politics, but we know this: money is power. So the 69-year-old real estate magnate is running for the presidency, that much we know. Does that help with selling this 1991 Acura NSX on eBay? Not really.
The owner claims he has purchased the black-on-black straight from its previous proprietor, none other than Marla Maples. She kept this car for over twice the time she was with Trump, which means she did enjoy the car quite a bit. There has been some restoration conducted such as a new transmission and clutch, but that was before the current owner bought it. Still, “the car feels and drives like it is new,” according to the ad.
For a 24-year-old Acura, it comes with rather small issues. The dashboard light control is frequently illuminated even though no exterior lights appear to be out. Then, the right front tire has a slow leak in it, and the air conditioner needs servicing.
As we expected, the seller is trying to take advantage of the celebrity factor and is playing the president card in the ad:
“The lucky winner of this auction will undoubtedly make a healthy profit on this investment when they are ready to do so. If Donald Trump were to become president, think about how much this vehicle will be worth.”
