Some designs are so fresh and look so good that we simply cannot overlook them. The Domteknika BioRace three-wheeler EV is just such a vehicle, yet it has a lot more going for it than just its ultra-streamlined good looks. It is made out of fully-recyclable biopolymer, which has been fashioned into a monocoque shell.
The BioRace is the product of Swiss company Domteknika, and it has been designed by Diedre Design. Now, for the performance numbers: it weighs around 230 kg, including the batteries, and with 107 hp and 1400 Nm, it should be more than brisk! It is set to reach a top speed somewhere around the 180 mph (290 km/h) mark.
With the EV, the company is also announcing the creation of a new type of racing, which is set to take place in urban environments, at night. With a range estimated around the 30-minute mark during full-race conditions, the series should prove interesting!
We will provide you with more details as soon as we have them, as this promises to be a rather interesting new type of racing, and we are very eager to learn more.
