Dodge Neon Gets Custom Identity

Custom car fans will do anything to create a ride that truly belongs to them, regardless of the vehicle used as a starting point. We are here now to give you an example, one that started as a 1995 Dodge Neon, the kind of vehicle that a teen could easily raise money to buy.

We have to start by telling you that the images you see in the adjacent gallery, which were published on stancenation, show a project which is still in development. The owner decided to modify both the visual and the tech sides of the vehicles, using a healthy approach. And by “healthy” we mean that the engine was not the only technical part that was modified.

We will show how the owner decided to start this project - immagine how it would be to have a car that gorws like a baby in your garage... Here is the (initial) list of mods:

suspension
  • custom coilovers
  • extended top hats
  • 550#f springs
  • 450#r springs
  • suspension techniques sway
  • urethane bushings
Stance
  • 16x7 chevy beretta gtz wheels 42mm offset (powdercoated black)
  • extended front studs
  • 10mm spacers in front for 32mm offset
  • 5mm spacers in rear for 37mm offset
  • 195/45/16 tires.
Engine
  • cold air intake
  • flowmaster
  • urethane motor mounts
  • solid bobble strut
  • powdercoated valve cover

visual mods
  • tinted tails/markers/brake lights
  • fresh paint job (summit bright white)
  • mopar front lip
  • black hood/roof
  • red lugs

Like we said, that is just the begining. Subsequent to intorducing the aformentioend mods, the owner decided that he would install a beefier engine, throw in a a rollcage and put the vehicle on a diet. We hope the work is ready soon!
