DMC Lamborghini Aventador LP900 Molto Veloce

DMC has gone all out with their mods for the Lamborghini Aventador, bringing all sort of changes and improvements to the game.

But we were quite surprised when we found out how much this costs: €125,000 (equivalent to $165,000) for the whole upgrade. Now that might sound like just a number, but very few tuners of supercars reveal exactly how much “unique” will cost you.

„The Molto Veloce aims at Aventador owners that seek to add a little more exclusivity to their LP700“ says Thorsten Grebers, Marketing Manager at DMC Germany. “The LP900 engine upgrade clearly targets speed enthusiasts.”

But if just buying the Aventador has broken your piggy bank, than don’t worry because the body kit only costs €19,500, and comes with front fascia, lower lip spoiler and splitter, side skirts, rear wing spoiler and rear fascia with diffuser, all made of carbon fiber.

DMC also offers a complete interior makeover for €17,700, but what we’re really interested in is what they can do to the engine.

“While traditional Lamborghini design features combined overhead throttle valves per cylinder bank, DMC has decided to use 12 unique single intake throttle plates, one per each cylinder. Gasoline pumps and - lines, as well as pressure modulators and injection nozzles will be replaced by own new components. Optimized engine electronics, an electronic load pressure control system and a completely new wiring will be added. The engine will be rebranded as LP900,” DMC says about the mods that will set you back €800.

They never mention a precise output level, but since the car is rebadged as the LP900, we’re guessing it’s got 900 PS (887 hp). The bad news is that you're going to have to take your car to their German or Swiss workshops because this is a complete engine overhaul.
