If you’re a true diehard fan of Valentino Rossi and/or are getting used to spying on him around his Tavullia “home base”, maybe this article is no news for you… but the rest of the motorsport enthusiasts will most likely be thrilled to learn that he’s manufacturing the merchandise for many of the big names, both old and new in MotoGP.
If you thought that the VR|46 brand is a Rossi-exclusive affair, think again. The VR|46 badge stands for both his Riding Academy and for a solid merchandising business which manufactures both official Rossi apparel… but does the same for Dani Pedrosa, Marc Marquez, Cal Crutchlow, Scott Redding and many more.
I know that the world’s youngest MotoGP champion doing merchandise business with Rossi may sound funny to some, but this has nothing to do with the battles on the track. The asphalt may see racing rivals, but these fellows are buddies in the real life. Again, diehard fans of MM93 or Pedrosa might feel a bit uneasy knowing that few pennies from the price of an official Marquez cap go to Rossi’s account, but there is nothing wrong with this. VR|46 takes care of apparel design, merchandise manufacturing and sales, both in stores and trackside operations.

The republic of San Marino, the Marco Simoncelli Circuit in Misano and Rossi’s Tavullia are only miles from each other, forming a triangle on the eastern shore of the Italian peninsula, and it looks like the latter is a great touristic destination for those who will attend the GP TIM di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini, this weekend.
