Previously playing for the Oakland Athletics and then for the Boston Red Sox, Yoenis Cespedes won the 2013 and 2014 Home Run Derby. Then, things seemed to have moved even further since he was traded to the Detroit Tigers. But when you work hard, you play hard, which is why he recently sent his Lamborghini Aventador for some serious custom improvements.
These Cubans really know their baseball, don’t they?

It was this July, Cespedes won the Home Run Derby for a second time, becomging the first player to win consecutive Home Run Derby titles since Ken Griffey Jr. accomplished that feat in 1999. While playing in the 2014 MLB All-Star Game he went 0 for 2.

Soon after he was traded to the Boston Red Sox, in exchange for pitcher Jon Lester and utility player Jonny Gomes. It took less than a month for the 29-year MLB star to hit his first home run against the Los Angeles of Anaheim, with a 3-run home run. A couple of months later, he once again switched teams, to be now part of the Detroit Tigers team.

We’re guessing he also got some nice cash with the new trade so it was only normal for the sportsman to take some spoiling time for himself for a change. So he took his Lamborghini Aventador over at the Auto Firm shop, where Alex Vega’s boys took proper care of it. The supercar got a complete color change to Satin Black with dark blue accents and brand new Avorza AV3 forged wheels, so it could nicely fit to the finish.

On the inside, things get quite loud considering it got a brand new Audison Hertz sound system which integrates just perfect with the fresh custom interior. Add up a bit of power enhancement and a custom exhaust system that spits fire and we’re looking at a true beast. In case you want to get a closer look, just check out the short clip listed below.
