Before we completely destroy the traditional form of the NY cab, somebody has gone and done something cool. It’s a DeLorean cab which will take you back in time to that meeting that started fifteen minutes ago.
We don’t know what the fair is like, but one you get past 88 miles per hour, you should be taxed per minute of time travel, not the mile.
Right now, this is only a rendering, but the DeLorean taxi could become a publicity stunt for Nooka, a New York-based fashion company that asked Mike Lubrano to imagine this car into reality.
On a more personal note, this golden yellow suits the DeLorean very well. As cute as the idea might seem, this can never be anything more than a publicity stunt. New York City laws dictate that the passengers should be seated behind the driver, not side by side. But the idea remain really cool and original.
