Does the Porsche 911 GT3 RS PDK need a commercial? Of course it doesn't, but this hasn't stopped Zuffenhausen from using the Rennsport Neunelfer in its promo videos. As a result, we shouldn't be surprised to see the aftermarket world following Porsche's lead and we're here to bring you the freshest example of that.
The ad(venture) comes from Fi Exhaust, with the Taiwan-based exhaust developer going for a Need For Speed take for this piece of footage. Perhaps in a surprising manner, the commercial tips the balance towards music rather than the exhaust soundtrack.

Don't worry, though, the clip offers a reasonable amount of flat-six screaming, as you'll be able to notice behind the "play" button. The clip also shows the exhaust being fitted to the track-savvy machine, this wetting our appetite even further.

The exhaust hardware seen here fetures a complete setup, including a catless header, a catback Valvetronic muffler, which allows the voice of the engine to be controlled according to engine rpm or remote control. Oh, and let's not forget the dual tips, which talk about the aftermarket nature of this rear-engined coupe.

Unlike the 3.8-liter flat-six of the 911 GT3, which can climb to 9,000 rpm, the 4.0-liter heart of the RS has given up 200 rpm at the top, but both soundtracks can put immense smiles on one's face.

High-pitched - this is how we'd describe the voice of the 911 GT3 RS that awaits you in the video, so it's best to turn up the volume before letting the two minutes of the video entertain you.

Since Porsche is now almost ready to introduce the facelifted 911 GT3, we're eager to see what the aftermarket sector can do for the 991.2 model and we'll return with the news as soon as we get our hands on it. Meanwhile, here are the latest spyshots of the almost-baked GT3.
