With the 2016 Ford Focus RS being THE hot hatch of the moment, the Blue Oval's machine is already enjoying tons of aftermarket attention. And we're here to bring you the latest such episode, one that's nothing short of a dB blast.
The example of the Focus RS we're here to show you has been taken from 350 to 375 hp, with the vehicle being on its way to hitting the 400 hp border. Nevertheless, numbers are helpless when it comes to describing the aural experience this machine provides.

As we noticed during our 2016 Focus RS review, the standard car is a bit restrained when it comes to the soundtrack. While the 2.3-liter EcoBoost doesn't sound as mean as it could from the outside, the cabin is filled with fake engine noise, making us lust for the resonator of the Mk II Focus RS, which brought actual engine sounds inside the manic hatch.

Returning to the tuned machine we have here, this has been gifted with a host of custom goodies - we'll start with the bits that help with the car's voice, namely a Milltek Exhaust, as well as an AS Performance downpipe and decat job.

Other mods include an AS Group air intake, an Airtec intercooler - given all the parts, a special ECU remap is all that's required to allow the vehicle to reach 400 horses.

The uber-quick Focus also comes with custom bits that sit outside the engine compartment, namely Eibach lowering springs and a badass rear spoiler. Given the fact that the standard suspension setup is split between comfort and velocity, it's not difficult to understand why the owner of the car chose the Eibach hardware.

While the decatted status of the Focus means the all-wheel-drive beast isn't street legal anymore, don't expect the piece of footage below to stick to the Nurburgring action mentioned in the title.
