NASCAR fans are in for a lot of pink at the Hollywood Casino 400 in Kansas this week, where Stewart-Haas Racing's Danica Patrick and Chevrolet are racing to support Making Strides Through Breast Cancer.
Danica Patrick's No.10 Chevrolet SS will be wearing a new pink paint job, while GM will be fielding a pink-themed Camaro SS pace car. In addition, Chevrolet will donate $200 to the American Cancer Society for each lap run under caution.
Both vehicles will see more action in the same livery later this month in Charlotte, Talladega, and Martinsville. Also, special 2014 Corvette Stingray will serve as the pace car for the IZOD IndyCar Series event at Auto Club Speedway in October.
Last year, Chevrolet and the American Cancer Society raised $1,211,463 in contributions through the Making Strides walks.
