The tour will continue through the Po Valley and will pass through the Apennines, to the Mugello basin.
“Rows of vines, olives, cypresses, tuff and clay landscapes, an almost lunar scenery will accompany bikers from around the world until reaching the Maremma and Amiata, mysterious and fascinating lands, whose roads reveal a splendid artistic heritage with some of the greenest and most uncontaminated countryside in Tuscany,” a company statement reads.
Some of the greatest motorcycle legends will accompany the group, including Valentino Rossi, Kevin Schwantz and Giacomo Agostini, who will participate at different stages during the tour.
Italian Legendary Tour is an ambitious project by Dainese and AGV which aims to promote and valorise tradition and excellence in the history of motorcycling through leading players in each field of reference. This year partners include Ducati and MV Agusta.
Between May 20 - July 20 2010, all those purchasing a Dainese garment from any Dainese flagship store, top dealer or using e-commerce on the company website, have the chance of winning their entry to the tour. Moreover, those who publish a photo of their most legendary motorcycle journey on the website have the chance of winning a TomTom Urban Rider GPS system for motorcyclists.
