Daihatsu A-Concept Shows Its Face in Indonesia
The highlight in the company’s booth is represented by the A-Concept, which is likely to preview a production model that could enter the Indonesian market soon.
“In thoroughly studying the needs within the country, ADM took the initiative in planning and designing this model with the aim of establishing it as a close partner for the user by offering excellent design, large interior and trunk space, and fuel efficiency encapsulated in a compact body; all of which introduces a new stage for Indonesian lifestyles,” the company says.
The car is manufactured by Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua), Daihatsu's production base in Malaysia, exported to Indonesia and sold through PT Astra International Tbk.
The products on display go under the theme "Driving Heart to Green Living” theme at the aforementioned event. “The intent is to supply automobiles grounded in the lifestyles of Indonesia's people by applying its small car technologies that achieve high fuel efficiency, resource conservation and affordable prices,” Daihatsu explains in a statement for the press.
