Romanian automaker Dacia has launched a special edition for their "shockingly affordable" Duster SUV in the United Kingdom. Dubbed Black Edition, the one-off special edition was released to celebrate this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Compared to the regular Duster, the Black Edition comes with a sportier look and offers a wide range of extra features. Based on the Dacia Duster Ambiance dCi 110 4x2, the Black Edition will arrive in a brushed black vinyl wrap finish and with unique 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and projectors.
Inside, the Black Edition will feature a luxurious ash leather interior, a Kenwood media system with a 6-inch display, Garmin satellite navigation with TMC traffic information, DAB, Bluetooth with hands-free calling, ipod connectivity, DVD playback, and rear USB connection.
Available to order as we speak for £17,575 OTR, the new Dacia Duster Black Edition will be delivered to its customers starting October. “The Dacia Duster Black Edition is a mean, more upmarket version of what is already a great selling vehicle. I challenge anybody to drive home such a great looking SUV, with or without 4x4, with so much kit for anywhere near the money,” said Phil Yprk, Dacia UK's marketing director.
