Custom Triumph Scrambler "Desert" by Drags&Racing
text size: A- A+
This bike is the living proof of how cool can older bikes look when someone takes good care of them. The Desert sports a very martial look, partly because of the distressed aged green-ish color and the iconic headlight with protective grill.
In fact Drags&Racing have done such a good work that many people could be fooled this is a WWI bike, should they fail to notice the modern-era engine and the fuel tank, which is rather far from the World War design.
The Desert is based on a Triumph Scrambler and has received some trims and customization work which and gets pretty close to the legendary Bonneville in The Great Escape. While Triumph plans a Steve McQueen tribute bike for the EICMA in Milan, Italy early November, the Drags&Racing Desert could easily be set on par with it.
