Custom Moto Guzzi V1100 by Santiago Chopper
Why such a name or this V1100 Moto Guzzi, might you ask? Well, Alain mentioned that he had to strip down all the fat from the original bike, in order to be ready to take the first step in its new life.
The base for the Weight Watcher was a 1996 V1100 Daytona, losing all the bulkiness of the original fairing elements and dashboard indicators. Alain Bernard had to modify the sub-frame so it could accommodate a Ducati seat with a carbon fiber cowl. Even the battery box had to go and the custom Moto Guzzi V1100 has received a small, lightweight Antigravity battery.
Grace FX Hydro Graphics provided the all-new carbon fiber-wrapped fuel tank with a lower profile and streamlined flow, perfectly matching the rear of the bike and the cylinder caps. The Moto Guzzi V1100 Daytona also received completely new electrical wiring, a Kawasaki headlight and minuscule LED tail light.
Steel exhaust pipes, new, Keihin CR 41mm carburetors have been mounted replacing the old pieces and so the initial 102 BHP 1,064cc engine got a boost, also. Frame and engine got a new paint job from Craig Paints Bikes and Pro-Bolt anodized bolts and fasteners completed the job.
The Santiago Chopper Moto Guzzi V1100 Custom still looks classic, but it also has a very mean and brutal aura. Awesome!
