There’s a special breed of custom rides that come with an appearance that may seem to be stock, but has that something special which sets it apart. The latest example of this comes from the-the US, where Pfaff Tuning has played with a 2013 Audi RS5.
The vehicle comes dressed in Sepang Blue, so we can talk about a special appearance in factory stock trim. The owner wanted something special, but didn’t plan to take the RS machine down the tuning route that makes cars hard to recognize once they exit the custom car shop.

As a result, the Audi was fitted with a set of rolling goodies coming from HRE Wheels.

We are talking about S101 rims, which use a concave profile and angular design. Audi isn’t exactly shy when it comes to the design of its standard wheels, but the rollers we see here come pretty far from anything the German automotive producer has delivered on its series vehicles.

The wheels feature a two-tone color scheme, using dark centers and Silver lips. The hues seen here seem to mix well with the Sepang Blue of the coupe, as well as with the black elements, such as the front grille or the window surround.

In order for the RS5 to truly get a new stance, the V8-powered vehicle was also fitted with lowering springs supplied by GMG. Sure, this has sacrificed the RS5’s practicality, but the owner only cared about the looks.

The final touch was brought via a custom exhaust system coming from HMS, which uses valves that allow the driver to control the sound. Come to think about it, this is a move the vehicle was begging for. With a 4.2-liter V8 that revs over 8,000 rpm, it would be a pity not to gift the machine with such a tuning feature.
