Crashvertising: High Impact Ad Campaigns

Philosophers, politicians and even an insane Austrian World War I regimental runner which went by the name of Adolf have tried for millennia to define the world we live in. Some have succeeded, most have not, but regardless of the definitions given to the world and the society in it, none were right in the long run.

Society changes, as you all know, so a definition given 40 years ago would not apply today. This brings us to the current question: what defines our world today? Terrorism? Economic crisis? Or, despite the two mentioned before, consumerism at all costs?

A company which sells by the name of Crashvertising believes that yes, consumerism is the defining word of our world today. And their logic in supporting this claim is dauntingly simple: people love disasters and, if they can, they come in big numbers to see the disaster with their own eyes.

The disasters that sell best are, in the group's view, car crashes. Where ever they happen, no matter how severe, car crashes always draw crowds. Why wouldn't somebody benefit from all the free advertising opportunities and increased exposure?

The concept is simple: a company or organization hires Crashvertising for an ad campaign. Separately, two, or more cars crash somewhere. Crashvertising sends its crew, equipped with the paying company's message, to the crash scene. As a result, the dozens which flocked to the scene can see both the efforts of the first responders and the respective ad, accompanied by models. Brilliant, or just exploitative?

Be the judge and let us know in the comment box below, but not before you read the following message from Crashvertising.

“Crashvertise makes every car crash a perfect media to successfully spread your message. Why stage complicated and expensive car crash scenes while everyday with Crashvertise it is possible to take advantage of thousands of road accidents!”
