With so many luxury cars being bought in China, by newly-wealthy people, it’s inevitable for incidents to take place involving some of these expensive cars (extremely so in China, where such cars end up costing twice as much as on most other markets).

The Nissan sedanand the Maserati sportscar apparently collided on a (relatively) straight stretch of road. However the GranCabrio, apparently, wasn’t the cause of the accident, but the Nissan which was being driven on the wrong side of the road. The collision was quite severe from the looks of it, but thankfully nobody was seriously hurt, with the driver of the Bluebird/Sunny being taken to hospital for minor injuries.

Curiously, the driver of the Maserati fled the scene almost immediately after, being picked up by a Mercedes-Benz and taken away. Police are still investigating, however, no clear explanation regarding the event has been made public.
