She just became the night’s biggest winner in numbers at this year’s Country Music Association Awards, but that is not the only reason Miranda Lambert is showing off that big and beautiful smile. The country singer has also recently announced a new partnership with Ram Trucks that kicks off this week, with the Grammy winner auctioning off a customized Ram Laramie Longhorn to benefit Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation.
Apart from being one of America’s beloved country music singers, Miranda Lambert is a true animal rights ambassador and the proud owner of seven rescue dogs. As the new spokeswoman for Dodge Ram trucks, she will begin the new collaboration by auctioning the custom vehicle, a deal which will benefit her charity.
The auction is already on eBay and it runs through November 15th. But don’t worry, you can help even if you’re not really planning to buy a car right now. Fans can also bid on autographed copies of her new album “Platinum”, tickets to upcoming shows or signed guitars.
She is a truck woman
According to the American auto maker there is no coincidence Lambert accepted the company’s proposal, considering she is “a truck woman”.
“I have lived my entire life surrounded by trucks even to this day. I have also written songs that mention trucks, so I am so happy to be partnering with Ram. And I’m thankful for their generosity in allowing me to auction off a Ram Laaramie Longhorn for MuttNation Foundation. It’s a cause so close to my heart” the singer explained.
In terms of their sales, the truck manufacturer claims things have been going pretty good, as Ram Trucks is reportedly the fastest growing truck brand in America, recording 54 consecutive months of year-over-year sales gains as of October 2014.
