Copper/Brownish 2012 Lexus LFA for Sale on eBay

If you thought that Paris Hilton’s pink Lexus LFA looks bad, just keep reading on and we might be able to change your mind. Herb Chambers Lexus in Sharon, Massachusetts, is selling one of the carbon-fiber supercars finished in copper paint on eBay.

It’s actually cheap, at $389,900, but we’re not exactly attracted to something that looks like a chocolate bar. There’s also a slight issue with the purchase, as Autoblog reports the buyer will have to sign a first right of refusal contract with Lexus, which states that if he wants to pass the car on to somebody else within the next two years, the luxury carmaker will have the option to enter a transaction first.

The seller says the brownish looking supercar came into the world this way because the original order was placed this way. When the buyer came to pick up the car he took a close look, had second thoughts and ran for the hills. This definitely looks like the perfect job for some matte black or carbon-fiber vinyl wrap and some aftermarket rims. We bet you can do that with the $11,100 change you get for your $400,000.

In case the color hasn’t put you off, we’ll remind you that the LFA has a 553 hp 4.8-liter V10 that revs to 8,700 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed automated sequential gearbox, which helps it accelerate to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds and on to top speed rated at 325 km/h (202 mph).

Do you want a brownish LFA? If you live in Massachusetts, there's not much choice, since it's the only one there.
