Have you guys noticed all the small, useless things automakers do to promote their cars. We're talking about things that seemingly makes no sense, like offering huge fleets of cars for events that no true car guy has the time to watch, like film festivals and beauty pageants.
Case in point, this Peugeot 508 sedan, clearly marked as the official car for the 2014 Miss France as it was spotted chauffeuring 19-year old Flora Coquerel. That money could have been put to much better use updating the 508, something the desperately need to do now that VW is coming out with the new Passat.

We'll give them the fact that the young miss Flora is quite the controversial character, currently in the media spotlight in France. Row created over Miss France contestants being predominantly white resulted in a mixed race winner for 2014. Coquerell, whose mother is Beninese, was crowned this Saturday night. Two months ago, the president of the Miss France pageant resigned amid criticism regarding race and religion representation.
