Citroen Nemo Multispace Goes to the UK
- Citroen Nemo is now available in the UK
- Nemo has a starting price of £9,995
- With the 2,000 pounds incentive, the Nemo can cost £9,995
The Nemo will be available in a single trim version, equipped with remote central locking, electric windows, power steering, split rear seats, 4 airbags, trip computer and even ‘guide me home’ lights fitted as standard.
An MPV in essence, the Nemo provides a 360-litre boot volume, which can be increased to either 890-litres with rear seats folded or even as much as 2500-litres with the rear seats completely removed. In addition, the removable luggage shelf can be stored behind the back of the rear bench.
Nemo benefits from two engine types, either a 1.4i 75 horsepower petrol unit or 1.4l HDi 70 horsepower diesel, available with standard or Sensodrive transmission. The latter of the two engines provides a fuel economy of 62.8 mpg on the combined cycle, translated into a range of around 620 miles on its 9.9-gallon tank. Thanks to the engine’s CO2 emissions of 119g/km, the Nemo HDi model comes with Citroën’s Airdream label.
Citroen Nemo Multispace comes at a price of £9,995 for the 1.4i petrol model and up to £11,795 for the 1.4HDi engine equipped with Sensodrive transmission. Included as standard for these prices are ABS, driver and passenger airbags, rear parking sensor and Bluetooth connectivity. Unfortunately, air conditioning is only available as an option.
Thanks to the recently introduced scrappage incentive in the UK, customers may get a 2,000 pounds voucher when buying a Nemo, bringing the MPV’s value down to £7,995.
