Citroen Launches DS3 in Australia

The automaker has set itself a high target, planing to challenge luxury brands such as BMW and Audi on the Australian market.
Based on the C3, the vehicle comes with an upgraded suspension and a larger wheelbase, two features that are aimed at improving handling. The DS3 is offered in two versions: the Style is the entry-level one, while more demanding customers can go for the Sport incarnation of the vehicle.
The DS3 Style uses a naturally aspirated 1.6 liter unit that delivers 119 hp and 160 Nm of torque and is mated to a four-speed automatic gearbox, while the Sport version borrows the MINI Cooper S’ turbocharged 1.6 liter unit that develops 156 hp and 240 Nm and comes with a six-speed manual transmission.
One of the top assets of the DS3 is the high level of personalization, with customers being offered a long list of choices for multiple exterior and interior elements.
