Citroen DS3 Ines de la Fressange Paris Concept Is As French As Vinaigrette

Throughout the French automaker's illustrious history we've been offered with the likes of the Traction Avant, 2CV, DS and SM, but Citroen of today is hardly the manufacturer of yesteryear. Even so, the DS lineup has brought back a bit of that 'je ne sais quoi', with the DS3 considered the best of the breed.

With the 2014 Paris Motor Show just around the corner, Citroen has joined forces with a boutique fashion house called Ines de la Fressange Paris to create two haute couture DS3 concepts. The only difference between them is that one has a solid metal roof, while the other sports a trick little cloth roof finished in a color called Infinite Blue.

It's a pity Citroen doesn't plan to put the two into production because the DS3 Ines de la Fressange is one cool supermini that emanates Parisian chic through every pore. Just take in the contrast of the Onyx Black roof and satin finish Ink Blue exterior of the hardtop, as well as the Perla Nera Black of the DS3 Cabrio. The color combos are to die for together with the 17-inch two-tone diamond-cut wheels.

If you dig a little deeper and start paying attention to the fine details, you'll find that the use of blue, white and red clearly express the Parisian roots of both brands and their ties with everything French. Even the Granite Blue grained leather seats boast with the three emblematic colors of the union.

If the Citroen DS3 doesn't float your boat, then what about a MINI Cooper S in Volcanic Orange?
