Yet again, French manufacturer Citroen and British cosmetics company Benefit have made a girls-only special edition of the aging Citroen DS3. But be advised 'cause this DS3 comes as a Cabrio only, so it's very possible for the wind to mess up your hairstyle if you like to drive with the top down.
Already available for order, this U.K.-only special edition retails from £18,745, which translates to €23,485 or $31,535 at current exchange rates. That's a helluva lot of pounds sterling for a Citroen DS3 Cabrio, so what do you get for the money? How about a key fob adorned with the Gabbi's head logo and a Fuchsia Pink insert? That doesn't float our boat either, but this special edition model is aimed at the girly public, so what else is there?
Well, the chic female motorist gets with the Citroen DS3 Cabrio DStyle by Benefit a limited-run model that features "eye-catching design cues inspired by Benefit’s popular ‘Stay Flawless’ cosmetic range." Finished in Polar White and contrasting Fuchsia Pink accents as well as a black roof, the exterior of the model also gets a lot of special badges and logos to remind you that this is a car inspired by a foundation primer. The 17-inch Bellone alloy wheels finished in black look kind of nice minus the pink center caps, while the B-pillars are beautified by the Gabbi's head logo and the Benefit badge is fitted to the DS3 Cabrio's rear.
As for the interior, black velour floor mats with Fuchsia edging and an embroidered Fuchsia Benefit logo, as well as air vent surrounds and a gear stick cap finished in white are on the menu. The City Signature pack is also thrown in, which includes interior mood lighting, front central armrest, automatic digital air conditioning and automatic headlamps, automatic wipers and power folding mirrors. The Citroen DS3 Cabrio DStyle by Benefit is powered by a VTi 120 engine, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
