Citroen Announces Goodwood Festival of Speed Line-up
The vehicle was developed by Citroen Racing and will only be produced in limited numbers. It uses a turbocharged 1.6 liter engine (the same unit from the Mini Cooper S) that develops 200 hp and comes with multiple motorsport-inspired components. The vehicle will make its UK market debut later this year.
Also making its UK debut will the “highly-charged”, all electric Survolt supercar concept.
“A blend of high-fashion extravagance and motor racing dynamism, Survolt takes the essence of Citroën’s Revolte concept - performance, cutting-edge technology and luxury - and adds an assertive sporting dimension,” stated the press release.
The Citroen Revolte concept will be showcased at the Goodwood FoS-TECH pavilion, a display for innovative automotive technologies. The vehicle will also take part in a special low-emissions hill climb.
The spectacular GTbyCITROEN concept will return to the Festival this year, being showcased in the prestigious Supercar Paddock. The vehicle will join the Revolte concept in the eco hill climb event.
The C4 WRC rally car will also joins Citroen’s Goodwood line-up, with a special appearance being prepared for the car.
Citroen’s display will be completed by several examples from the recently introduced DS3 premium range, with the vehicles demonstrating the high level of personalization offered by the model.
