Chrysler Reports US Sales Up 20% in April
The Chrysler brand itself saw a hugely impressive 56 percent increase in demand to 31,879 vehicles, while Fiat demand grew 336 percent 3,849 cars, with only one model basically on sale.
Meanwhile, Jeep sales grew 19 percent to 38,684 units, while Dodge only recorded a 2 percent increase percent to 45,248 vehicles.
“April was another strong month for Chrysler as our sales increased 20 percent, we recorded our 25th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth and we reported our strongest quarterly profit in 13 years,” says Chrysler Group Reid Bigland, Dodge CEO and Head of U.S. Sales.
