Chrome Corvette Wrap from Lithuania

Chrome wrapping makes no apologies for what it is. It's a brutish attempt to turn a car into a disco ball that will attract everybody's attention. At night, it's like turning off the lights in a room and lighting a candle – it will immediately draw your attention.

The Chevy Corvette has never officially been available at dealers in Europe, who are much to busy selling Korean compacts to notice this American sportscar. However, the Eastern Europeans have an especially strong appetite for Mustangs, Corvette and Camaros, they symbols of capitalism they weren't allowed to have.

This C6 Corvette Convertible was chromed out by its Re-Styling for its Lithuanian owner. They say there isn't another one like it in the country, and we're inclined to believe them. It's even got a Japanese cousin, a chrome Nissan 350Z which you can check out in the gallery below.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
