Maybe you’re not really a radio type of person, but we’re pretty sure you love cars. And this story has them both. You see, Chris Evans became a star ever since he was a presenter for the BBC’s Greater London radio and then Channel 4 television, where The Big Breakfast show was broadcasted. By 2000 he was the UK’s highest paid entertainer, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. Right now his net worth is estimated at £50 million ($81 million).

And the reason we’re telling you all this is because of what we’re writing next.

Evans is also famous for the exclusive car collection he owns. A fan of fast ones, and particularly Ferraris, some of his recent acquisitions include a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder formerly owned by US actor James Coburn he paid the record price of EUR 6.4 million. In May 2010, he also bought a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO, one of only thirty-six built, for £12 million ($19.59).

That is why learning he just dropped £2.27 million ($3.7 million) for a very rare 1971 Ferrari Daytona Spyder is not that of a big surprise. According to Daily Mail, one of just 122 were ever built and despite being more than 40 years old, the Ferrari has covered less than 4,000 miles and is described as being in 'concours condition'.

Well, good for him.
