In case you were wondering about the China-made Skoda Rapid Spaceback, you’ll be happy to know that the brand has released the first official pictures of the car.
Although we are pretty sure you know quite a few things about the vehicle, this particular car is the hatchback version of the Rapid Sedan and will be available on their market under the Chinese name of Xindong (Action-Move) starting 2014.
Concerning the engines, the Spaceback will incorporate the same ones as the sedan, meaning a 90 PS 1.4 and a 110 PS 1.6-liter.
The released pictures show the flaming red Xindong, the powerful color adding to that sportiness and making it quite appealing to the eye. Tinted windows and a blacked out roof have been to the press car, together with parking sensors and large diameter alloy wheels. Fans of the "Simply Clever" Czech brand will recognize these features from the European Style Pack.
