By popular demand, Chevrolet's two Midnight Edition pickup trucks are back for yet another model year. We are talking about the 2016 Silverado and Colorado, which can be configured to be as black as Batman's car.
The package is available for the 2016 Silverado 1500 Z71 and the Colorado Z71, both vehicles being expected to show up at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. You can check both of them out in the photo gallery and video below.

Without too much effort, customers will be able to drive away from their local Chevy dealership with a truck that looks like it's been customized. The black paint is evident, but these two Chevys also have dark trim for the grille, bumpers, and headlight bezels. Even the alloy wheels have received a sinister look.

To complete the exterior transformation, a spray-in bed liner is thrown into the sinister concoction. Since these come with the Z71 package, you can also option things like an upgraded off-road suspension, hill descent control, a locking differential, transfer case shielding and Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac all-terrain tires.

"We introduced several special-edition trucks in 2015 - each combining equipment and appearance packages designed for specific enthusiasts in mind," said Sandor Piszar, Chevrolet truck marketing director. "They clearly resonated with buyers, as the special editions sold in one-third the time, and to younger, more affluent buyers than the industry average. "Each special edition is tailor-made to fit a specific customer - whether you are an off-road enthusiast who wants a Colorado or a hunting enthusiast who wants a unique Silverado."

Piszar added that the Silverado 1500 Midnight was the most popular model in 2015. They just couldn't keep up with demand.

We'll remind you guys that the trucks weren't the only Midnight Editions. Following the guidelines set by a few SEMA concepts, the company also introduced these packages for the Trax crossover and Impala sedan. However, they weren't nearly as attractive.
