For a while now, numerous automobile makers have come up with extremely interesting, hilarious, heart-warming ways of attracting customers. This time around, the guys from Chevrolet have cooked up a really eye-watering commercial for their Chevy Chevrolet Equinox, called “Maddie.”
The 1 minute-long video portrays a girl and her dog and every moment they shared together till the very end. The company wanted to show the idea of “ a best friend for life’s journey” and what better way to do that than with a man’s best friend.
The dog is a Golden Retriever, canines known for their extremely affectionate way of being, animals well-suited for families. We must say that they really did a good job with this particular commercial. They managed to capture certain feelings, quite powerful ones as they rewind back to the moment when the girl gets Maddie. It shows how Maddie witnesses the girl’s first driving lesson (with a Chevy), first break-up, her high-school graduation and even the moment she moves all by herself. Of course, these are only a few examples of the moments potrayed in the ad.
It is quite heart-warming to see how they managed to depict the powerful connection between a dog and his owner. A connection that doesn’t need words in order to be understood, just felt. Concerning the Chevy Equinox, we’re talking about a mid-size SUV that seems to offer a balanced approached rather than stand out in a particular manner.
