Must See: BMW Vision Future Luxury Concept in Real Life

BMW kept its word and revealed yet another stunning concept at this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa D’Este. Unlike last year when we got to see a collaboration with Pininfarina, this year we’re checking out an unique Bavarian creation, the Vision Future Luxury concept.

This is said to preview the upcoming BMW 7 Series and if that turns out to be true, we’re more than excited to see what the new flagship will bring to the table as the VFL incorporates the best tech and materials around.

We have to admit that, at first, when we saw this car we initially though the proportions might be a bit off. The huge kidney grilles up front contrasting with the sleek headlamps and the thin taillights gave us the impression that something was a bit odd.

Nothing farther from the truth. This thing is absolutely beautiful and perfectly proportioned but we just needed to see it in a live video shot outside under the sunlight to realize it.

All out doubts suddenly went away and we’re more than happy to say that we love everything about it. From the laser headlamps to the OLED taillights and the coach-style doors, everything fits.

We are a bit curious about what kind of power is moving it around and what drivetrain it’s using but you can’t have all the details about such a concept so early after it was revealed.

We were also lucky that someone over at hyyperlic.com had the chance to film it in motion, even though it was just for a couple of feet. It was all we needed to make sure that this thing not only looks great but it can also move on its own.
