Shortly after launching the social media campaign for supporting its Green Police Super Bowl ad, Audi decided to make the music soundtrack by Cheap Trick available for download. But what is so special about the song that would make viewers look it up?

Well, Cheap Trick has made a remake of its classic rock hit "Dream Police," which became a song that combines the message of the A3 TDI Green Car of the Year win and the high-energy beat of the original tune.

According to the carmaker, fans of Cheap Trick, Audi or catchy advertising tunes can listen to the band's Green Police track at the following link.

"We have no doubt that viewers will walk away from the Super Bowl with that song playing in their heads,"
said Scott Keogh, Audi of America Chief Marketing Officer.  "It is certain to make the environmental message behind the Green Police ad hard to forget."

The campaign aims to educate consumers about the environmental impact of their everyday actions and it is using the Green Police to do so. The carmaker is also using this campaign to promote he Audi A3 TDI clean diesel luxury car to the consumers.

As part of the campaign, a number of athletes and members of the media will drive TDI-model cars from Audi headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, to Miami, where the Super Bowl will take place on February 7.

Audi will encourage participants to document their trip on their social media pages, as they compete in the Audi Efficiency Challenge. Winner of the competition will get to assign a $20,000 donation to the charity of their choice.
