CGI: 2012 Renault Clio
Well, here we have the first computer-generated images (CGIs), mostly based on the leaked photos, which might be the first sign that the new Clio might indeed look like the one in these pictures.
As you can see for yourselves, the Clio seem to borrow some design elements from the latest Mazda2, with the car featuring
Overall, the car looks a bit sportier compared to the current model, although at the first glance you might be tempted to believe the body has been bulked up a bit.
Because we're dealing with some CGIs, no official photos, data or technical details are available but, according to some rumors, the French manufacturer plans to rely on both diesel and gasoline engines mated to either a five- or six-speed manual gearbox. Additionally, Renault is also considering including a a Quickshift 5 transmission available for the 1.2 16v 75hp (depending on market) and dCi 85 engines plus a four-speed automatic transmission for the 1.6 16V 110 engine.
