As the German automaker is making final preparations in regards to the market launch of the all-new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle, the previous generation of the ‘bug’ is still on top of its game. A convertible version of the model has recently been used by the Weilheim-based CarFilmComponents (CFC) as a show car during the 2011 Tuning World Bodensee in early May.

There they have pimped out the Beetle on-site, in front of the visitors, transforming it into an insane-looking vehicle that could easily pass as the perfect ride for the Looney Tunes characters. CFC has then taken the playful car to a photo session from which the adjacent images were selected to best reflect its eye-catching potential.

Using multi-colored self-adhesive film, CFC has dressed the front apron, the front wings, the side sills, the rear wings and the rear area in sticker bombing and velvet foil. The sticker bombing features high quality digital printings and high quality cottonized polyamide fibers (velvet), and carries a price tag of EUR2,200. However, mounting is also included in that price as well.

Creating the physical and visual connection to the road, the CFC Volkswagen Beetle has also received a set of 19-inch oxygen rims in sparrow black, featuring colored rim rings matching the car's body foil, and priced at EUR339 each. The rims are shod with Kumho Ecsta SPT tires size 225/35ZR19 88Y, priced at EUR159 each.

For noticeable improvements of driving dynamics, CFC also suggests fitting the Volkswagen Beetle with adjustable wheel spacers from SCC (EUR167 per axle) and a stainless steel coilover suspension from KW (EUR919) in combination with a stabilizers tuning kit (EUR179).
