When the LaFerrari Aperta made its public debut at the Paris Motor Show this fall, the news regarding the sold out status of the hypercar didn't surprise anybody. And one of the lucky 200 customers who made it to the LaF Aperta shortlist is Gordon Ramsay.
The British celebrity chef has taken delivery of his "giant spider" (check out the Instagram video below and you'll understand) over the weekend. Since Gordon happens to be extremely familiar with all things white, the hue he chose for his open-top Maranello halo car seems to fit his style perfectly.

Finished in Bianco Italia (that's pearl white outside the Prancing Horse realm), the 950 hp/963 PS machine stands out in London traffic like few other cars.

Speaking of which, the culinary master didn't waste any time, jumping into his new ride and hitting the streets of the British capital. And the London car spotters, which are some of the sharpest in the world, obviously ceased the opportunity, as you'll notice in the clip at the bottom of the page.

This isn't Gordon's first gas-electric Fezza, as he also owns a fixed-roof incarnation of the LaFerrari. And while mixing the feeling experienced in the coupe with the open-sky experience did cost Gordon a meaty (no pun intended) $2.1 million, the way in which these monster hybrids will jump in value is only matched by the chef's ever-growing love for beef Wellington.

However, We know at least one unnamed Ferrari collector who won't be jumping for joy when coming across this piece of news. We're talking about the man who sued Ferrari over being denied the possibility to add one of the world's 200 LaF Apertas to his collection.

The man accused Maranello of having generated - are you ready for it? - "reputational injury" and, yes, the case was dismissed.
