Well, Aquila is the company that solves your problems, as this electric-powered boards are just too cool to be real. But they are. Real, fun and most important, fast.

Aquila was born as a spin-off from the engineering company Bizintek innoca. According to their website, it was created with the aim of developing an electric propulsion system for water-sports, a project that began in 2013. Placed in the Basque Country, in Spain, the company is perfectly located in an area with a wide insutrial epxeience, nearby the sea and with a huge surfing culture.

The board’s creators claim this baby is the toy you need to enjoy high speed over water. From cruising over the water surface for the most adventurous ones to the most extreme performances for adrenaline fans. It’s not the fastest one in the new line, but it’s definitely one of the coolest, if you ask us. Designed for adrenaline junkies, the Blade Board is the perfect choice for Freestyle and Waves. It comes with a sporty shape, weights 39 lbs (18 kg) and has a top speed of 31 mph (53 km/h).

But you if you want to take things to a new level, you can always go for the Carver model. With this baby you’ll get the thrill but you first need to know the drill. It offers high speed planning, while still enjoying a perfect control over the surface of the water. It’s a bit more heavy, weighting 48 lbs (22kg), but it’s crazy fast, having a top speed of 44 mph (71 km/h).

The third in line is also the slowest one. Manta model has been designed for customers to enjoy planning on flat water, easily and from the first moment. It’s folks’ best proposal for beginers and for those that enjoy cruising. It weights 57 lbs (26 kg) and reaches up to 20 mph (33 km/h).

For adrenaline party you’ll have to save a bit of money, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth it. The fastest one is also the most expensive, $4,500 (EUR 3,300), while the cheapest one is $3,800 (EUR 2,800).
