Some two months ago we were reporting on a new kind of racing series which was set to debut in April 2010. Recently, organizers of the Caged Heat Racing Series said they have set up a tour across the US starting in Charlottesville, VA, in an attempt to engage small business owners in becoming a part of racing history. In other words, looking for sponsors.

"We know that the majority of small businesses in America have been hit hard by these trying economic times and we want to offer them a grassroots, national opportunity that can give them greater marketing exposure," said Thomas Walls, CEO of Caged Heat Racing Series, in a release.

"We know that small businesses are the backbone of our country, with many of them never getting the opportunity to sponsor major sports properties; CHRS is now making it affordable to be a part of our new America's Racing Series,"
Walls added.

Caged Heat Racing Series says that for $2,010 any American-based small businesses can obtain 1 or more of the 2,010 Associate Sponsor Titles being made available for the 2010 event. In addition, participating small businesses will have the opportunity to be named Premier Sponsor of the Caged Heat Racing Series during a random draw to be held on December 12, 2009.

Race nights will have it all, from lighting, audio and pyrotechnic effects to a race in The Cage, a 22-foot-tall track, banked at 67.5 degrees, with 125-foot straight-aways, and 80-foot x 180-degree sweeping turns.

A minimum of 30 drivers will compete each week on a track engineered to support them while fitting into the same seating configuration as an NHL hockey rink. The sound and light effects will be similar to a large arena rock show, World Wrestling Entertainment, Monster Trucks and the X-Games.
