Build a Breathtaking Paris-Dakar BMW R nineT with the Luismoto Kit

BMW accomplished the goal they had when the R nineT was designed: this bike serves as a wonderful platform for customization, and it can be transformed into countless interesting projects, while it can also be left as it is. However, we guess there will be quite a few guys who will get an R nineT and not operate any modifications.

Unlike most of the cool ideas involving R nineT machines, here's one that not only looks astonishing, but also comes with a most important feature. It is REAL and any rider can build it in their garage, over some beers. The Paris-Dakar R nineT is a creation of the Italian workshop Luismoto and all the parts will soon be available as a kit.

Choose an entire kit or just the parts that you love best

Luismoto took to building the necessary parts themselves, and will soon offer a complete modding kit to those who want to add more retro visuals to their R nineT. Parts will be available separately, as well, so customers will be able to modify only the aspects they want.

The fenders and the seat are probably the first thing that grabs one's attention. The rear mudguard also accommodates a Lucas tail light and even though it makes the bike look shorter, it will flawlessly install on the existing rear subframe without any modifications needed.

In the front, the shorty fender stays in place by means of a custom bracket. The fenders will be available in carbon, too, with the bracket in polished aluminium and ready for painting. The front end also incorporates a headlight grille that's soft-mounted te reduce vibrations. Above it, a retro flyscreen that's ready to install with dedicated mounts will be offered in carbon, as well.

Aluminium. carbon and top-drawer exhausts

The sidepanels are now aluminium but will be made from carbon fiber. The billet aluminium adjustable levers will also be anodized in multiple colors. A carbon cover for the tank was painted in the classic BMW colors over a white background, and contrasts beautifully with the red seat. The color was added in the leather at the tannery so there's no way it would ever fade. Black and brown versions will also be available.

As for the exhaust, it's hard to picture a more retro-racey one. Made from stainless steel with visible welding marks, it will be available in multiple configurations, even with custom collectors accepting third-party silencers. Cue the wrinkle black paint on the rest of the hardware and start fretting with the thought that your R nineT could look just as amazing as this one. The tires are Metzeler Karoo.
