Bugatti Veyron “Bleu” Centenaire Spotted in Monaco [Video]
But when the numbers don’t speak for themselves, the company’s rich heritage does. For Bugatti’s 100-year anniversary, they unveiled no less than four special cars under the Centenaire Edition name.
These payed homage to France, Italy, the UK and Germany, and each car had a chrome+color paintjob that identified it. This one is the so-called Bleu Centenaire, which honors Jean-Pierre Wimille from France.
It’s been spotted a few times on the streets of Monaco by Shmee150, who put together this video montage.
The rest of the car is basically the same as any 16.4 Veyron, so the owner is driving around in an insanely-high power - 1001 horsepower (736 kW), 922 lb-ft (1250 Nm) of torque. The 0-100 acceleration is done in 3.2 seconds, with maximum speed going as much as 253 mph (407 km/h).
